Your account
You need an account to keep your points and to subscribe. You must be at least 13 years old. One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
We may suspend or close an account that cheats, uses bots, shares competition answers, or harms other players. We tell you why, unless the law stops us.
Playing
Every question is timed by our server, and points depend on how fast you answer. The free plan has a daily allowance shown on the site; we may change it, and the current rules are always on the pricing page.
If we find that points were scored by mistake or by cheating, we may correct them.
Questions and AI
Some questions are written with the help of AI. A person checks each one before it is published. The editor responsible for the questions is Kenno Kirspuu, on behalf of IO Consulting OÜ. If a question is wrong, use "Report a problem" and we will check it.
Paid plans
Silver and Gold are paid in advance, monthly or yearly. Prices include VAT. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
A free trial is offered once per person. A card is needed to start it, and the first payment is taken when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
A plan renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel any time in your account and keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. If you change plan, the difference is charged or credited for the rest of the period.
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a few days and we email you. If no payment goes through, your account moves to the free plan.
Your right to withdraw
You asked for your plan to start straight away. You can still withdraw from the contract within 14 days of your first payment, with the "Withdraw from contract" button in your account. We end the plan and refund your last payment in full within 14 days, and confirm by email.
Competitions and prizes
Each competition has its own rules, published before it starts. Where they differ from these terms, the competition rules apply to that competition.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Kilva running and its questions right, but we cannot promise it is never interrupted or wrong. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we email you at least 30 days before the change. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Law and complaints
Estonian law applies, without taking away the protection the law of your country gives you as a consumer. If we cannot settle a complaint together, you can turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee of the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (ttja.ee).
